Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a mother who is a female service member, veteran, or the female spouse/partner of a service member or veteran
- You have a child between the ages of 2 and 10
- You are the legal guardian of that child and have both legal and physical custody
- You have experienced at least one traumatic event at some point in your life
- You have screened positive for PTSD symptoms, depression, and/or low confidence in your parenting abilities (based on specific questionnaire scores — confirm with trial site)
- You are able to speak and understand English or Spanish
- You are eligible to receive services at a Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently considered at high risk for suicide (based on a screening questionnaire)
- You are currently experiencing symptoms of psychosis (such as hallucinations or delusions — confirm with trial site)
- You have a disability that significantly affects your ability to communicate, such as deafness
- Your child (the one referred to in the study) has a severe developmental disability
- You are currently experiencing severe problems with alcohol, cannabis, or other substance use (based on screening questionnaires)
