Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) that does not have certain specific genetic mutations (such as EGFR, ALK, or ROS1)
• Your cancer is at an advanced (Stage IV) level, or your earlier-stage lung cancer has come back after treatment that was meant to cure it
• You have not had radiation therapy to the chest area before
• You have tumors in the chest (lungs and/or nearby lymph nodes) that could be treated with radiation therapy aimed at reducing symptoms
• Your cancer meets at least one "high-risk" feature, such as a large tumor (5 cm or more) not near the centre of the chest, or tumors close to important structures like the airway, esophagus, spine, heart, or major blood vessels
• You may have already received other cancer treatments (such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy), as long as you are enrolled within 6 months of starting treatment for Stage IV disease
• You are allowed to receive immunotherapy at the same time as the radiation treatment in this trial
• You have had, or are having, radiation to areas outside the chest (such as bones or the brain) for other cancer-related reasons

Who may not be able to join:

• You have previously had radiation therapy to the chest area
• You have an active autoimmune condition such as lupus or Sjögren's disease
• Your lung cancer is causing severe symptoms (such as a blocked airway, a blood clot blocking a major vein, coughing up large amounts of blood, spinal cord compression, or nerve problems in the arm) that need urgent radiation treatment for reasons other than bone pain
• Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities is significantly limited (confirm with trial site what score applies to you)
• You have cancer that has spread to the brain in a way that cannot be treated with immunotherapy alone, surgery, or targeted radiation — for example, if you need whole-brain radiation therapy
• You have a significant build-up of fluid around the lung that is clearly caused by cancer spreading across the lining of the lung (note: if you have fluid but no visible signs of cancer on the lining, you may still be eligible — confirm with trial site)
