You have been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called acute myeloid leukemia (AML), but not the subtype called acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), confirmed through bone marrow testing.
Your AML has come back (relapsed) or has not responded to previous treatment (refractory), with the return of the disease seen in the bone marrow cells — not just detected through molecular/genetic tests alone, and not limited to areas outside the bone marrow only.
There is no age restriction — both children and adults may be eligible.
You (or your parent/guardian if you are under 18, or a close family member if signing yourself is not possible given your condition) are willing and able to sign a consent form before the study begins.
