Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been continuously receiving medical care from the same healthcare providers (with both medical and pharmacy records) for at least 12 months before the start date.
- People who have not been prescribed the medication finerenone at any point in the 12 months before the start date.

Who may not be able to join:
- People whose records show two kidney function test results indicating very low kidney function (below a certain threshold), taken at least 90 days apart but no more than 540 days apart.
- People who have been dependent on dialysis, meaning they have had at least three dialysis sessions over a period of at least 90 days during the review period.
- People who have a recorded diagnosis of kidney failure or the most severe stage of chronic kidney disease (stage 5).
- People who have had a kidney transplant.
