Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults aged between 18 and 65 who have been given a primary diagnosis of PTSD, based on standard diagnostic criteria (DSM-5).
• Adults who are willing to take part and have given their formal agreement to participate in the study.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who do not have sufficient proficiency in the Dutch language.
• People who are unable to follow the full treatment schedule, for example due to extended periods of absence.
• People whose current medications have not been at a stable, consistent dose. Where medication is considered stable, the treating doctor will generally advise continuing the same medication and dose throughout the treatment period unless there is a specific reason to change.
• People who have already received a recognised, evidence-based trauma-focused treatment for PTSD within the past year, for a sufficient duration as defined by Dutch clinical practice guidelines.
• People who are experiencing serious thoughts of suicide that require urgent intervention and additional treatment support.
• People who have an intellectual disability.
• People who have a serious addiction as an additional condition alongside PTSD.
• People who are currently experiencing an acute manic episode or a psychotic state.
