Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 to 90 years old
- People who have been previously diagnosed with glioblastoma (a type of brain tumour) based on current medical classification standards, and whose tumour has come back, as confirmed by specific medical imaging guidelines called RANO criteria
- People whose tumour is considered suitable for surgical removal, as determined by a neurosurgeon
- People who are able to provide written agreement to participate in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose tumour is located in the cerebellum, brainstem, or the central midline area of the brain
- People who are unable to have an MRI scan for medical reasons, such as having a pacemaker
- People who are unable to provide written consent to participate
- People whose high-grade brain tumour developed as a result of a lower-grade brain tumour turning more aggressive over time (known as malignant transformation)
- People for whom medical records from the time of their original diagnosis are not available (confirm with trial site)
