Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a U.S. Veteran aged 18 or older who served in the military from the start of Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF) onward
- You have been diagnosed with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)
- You experience significant trauma-related guilt, shown by scoring at a certain level on a guilt questionnaire called the Trauma Related Guilt Inventory (confirm with trial site for exact score details)
- You are not currently receiving trauma-focused therapy such as Prolonged Exposure (PE) or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- You are willing and able to attend therapy and assessment appointments
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently at immediate risk of harming yourself or others and need urgent intervention
- You have been dealing with a severe substance use disorder within the past two months
- You are currently experiencing unmanaged psychosis (losing touch with reality) or mania (an extreme high mood state)
- You have a serious or unstable physical health condition that could be life-threatening
- You are unable to read
