Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), or axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) by a specialist in joint conditions.
- You currently do paid work (full-time or part-time) or are studying.
- You can read and understand Danish.
- When asked whether you believe you will be able to do your current job in two years' time, you would answer "unlikely" or "not certain."
- You are willing to take part in a randomised controlled trial (a type of research study where participants are placed into different groups) using a programme called WORK-ON VR.
Who may not be able to join:
- Your arthritis medication (such as DMARDs or steroid treatments) has been recently changed or is planned to change within the last three months.
- You have other health conditions, beyond your joint disease, that could explain why your ability to work is reduced.
- You are currently being investigated for another health condition that may affect your ability to work.
- You have had major surgery in the past six months, or you have surgery planned.
- You are not able to understand or speak Danish well enough to take part.
- You have cognitive (thinking) or psychological (mental health) difficulties that may affect your ability to participate.
- You are already taking part in, or planning to join, another rehabilitation programme (physiotherapy is an exception and is allowed).
- You previously took part in an earlier version of this study called the WORK-ON feasibility study.
- You are currently applying for retirement or are planning to retire within the next five years.
- You have been on long-term sick leave lasting more than four weeks.
