Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years, either male or female
- People who have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (a type of lung cancer), confirmed by a tissue or cell sample, with a specific type of genetic change in the EGFR gene (known as L858R or Exon19 deletion)
- People who have been diagnosed with leptomeningeal metastasis (cancer that has spread to the fluid and membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord), confirmed using established medical guidelines

- People with no history of serious nervous system disease
- People with no serious blood or bone marrow disorders
Who may not be able to join:
- People showing signs of nervous system failure, such as severe brain dysfunction, significant white matter changes seen on brain scans, or a reduced level of consciousness as measured by a standard medical scale (confirm with trial site)
- People whose cancer has spread widely throughout the body in a way that is considered life-threatening and is not responding to any treatment
- People who may have difficulty following the study requirements, or who have other reasons that the trial team considers unsuitable for participation
