Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older when you sign up for the study.
- You have been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE, or lupus) based on recognised 2019 medical guidelines.
- Your doctor has decided to prescribe you a medication called anifrolumab for your lupus for the first time, following the approved guidelines in your country.

Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently taking part in an early access or compassionate use programme for anifrolumab, or you are already in another clinical trial testing an experimental treatment.
- You have previously received anifrolumab as part of a clinical trial or an early access programme.
- You have been diagnosed with a serious or rapidly worsening form of lupus kidney disease requiring intensive treatment, a specific type of lupus kidney disease called isolated Class V lupus nephritis, or active severe or unstable lupus affecting your brain or mental health (confirm with trial site).
- You have any other condition that, in your doctor's opinion, would make it difficult for you to understand the consent form or complete the study questionnaires.
