Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are 18 years of age or older.
• People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities meets a minimum level, as measured by a standard medical scale (Karnofsky Performance Status of 60% or higher).
• People who have been newly diagnosed with a specific type of brain tumour called glioblastoma (GBM), confirmed by laboratory testing to be "IDH wild type," and diagnosed according to 2021 World Health Organization criteria.
• People who are planning to receive the standard medical treatment for newly diagnosed glioblastoma.
• People who had a brain MRI scan before their diagnostic surgery, with those images available for upload into a secure medical imaging system.
• People whose diagnostic surgery for glioblastoma took place within 7 weeks before joining the trial.
• People who have had a specific tumour marker test (MGMT methylation status) ordered at the time of joining the trial.
• People who have had a follow-up MRI scan within 3 weeks after their diagnostic surgery, with those images available for upload into a secure medical imaging system.
• People who are able to have MRI scans, including receiving a gadolinium-based contrast dye injection, and who have already shown they can tolerate MRI during their pre-surgery imaging.
• People who have no known allergies to substances that may be used in additional research scans in this trial, including a imaging agent called 18F-fluciclovine and MRI contrast dye.
• People who are not pregnant or breastfeeding. Anyone who could potentially become pregnant must have a blood or urine pregnancy test within 14 days before joining the trial.
• People who are able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to take part. People who have difficulty making decisions on their own may still be considered eligible if they have a legally authorised representative, caregiver, or family member available to assist.
• People who have had, or currently have, another type of cancer, as long as that cancer or its treatment is not likely to interfere with the safety or results of this trial.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
• People who have any reason they cannot safely have an MRI scan, including an inability to receive gadolinium-based contrast dye.
• People who have a known allergy to 18F-fluciclovine or MRI contrast agents that may be used in the research imaging portions of this trial.
• People whose diagnostic surgery for glioblastoma was performed more than 7 weeks before the time of registration.
• People who have not had the required MRI scans completed (before surgery and within 3 weeks after surgery) or whose images are not available for upload.
