Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are able to understand and are willing to sign a written consent form
- People who are 18 years of age or older (male or female)
- People who have been diagnosed through a tissue biopsy or sample with a specific type of kidney cancer called clear cell renal cell carcinoma that has either spread to nearby areas or to other parts of the body
- People who have at least one area of cancer that can be measured on a scan, according to standard measurement guidelines

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have active cancer spread to the brain or spinal fluid lining

- People who are still experiencing significant side effects (grade 2 or higher) from a previous cancer treatment that have not resolved
- People who have significant heart problems, or serious blood vessel or cardiovascular disease
- People who have difficulty swallowing or have a known condition that affects how the body absorbs medications
- People who have been diagnosed with another type of cancer within the past 5 years
- People who have serious complications related to their cancer
- People who are currently participating in another clinical trial
- People considered unsuitable for the trial based on the treating doctor's overall assessment
