Who might be able to join this trial:

• People between 18 and 65 years old
• People who have been diagnosed with chronic migraine based on internationally recognised diagnostic criteria
• People who have either never tried preventive migraine treatments before, or who have tried up to three standard preventive treatments (such as metoprolol, propranolol, amitriptyline, or flunarizine) and found they did not work well enough or caused unacceptable side effects

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose body mass index (a measure of weight relative to height) is below 15 or above 35
• People who have previously had a stellate ganglion block (a type of nerve block injection in the neck)
• People with a history of other nervous system disorders
• People with a history of serious heart, lung, liver, or kidney problems
• People with a known allergy to any of the medications used in the study
• People who regularly use opioid pain medications
• People with certain blood clotting abnormalities detected before the procedure
• People who have an infection or growth near the injection site in the neck
• People whose neck anatomy has been altered by previous radiation therapy or surgery
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People with a history of psychological disorders
• People who are not willing to sign a consent form to participate
