Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You experience ongoing shortness of breath, either at rest, during activity, or both
• Your shortness of breath has lasted for more than 3 months and continues even with treatment for an underlying condition, such as cancer, COPD, interstitial lung disease, bronchiectasis, or long-term lung problems following COVID-19
• Your breathlessness is significant enough that you get short of breath when walking quickly on flat ground or going up a gentle hill (or worse than this)
• You have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection
• You are able to give your consent to take part in the trial

Who may not be able to join:

• Your shortness of breath does not have a known medical cause
• Your main diagnosis is chronic hyperventilation syndrome (a breathing condition where you breathe too fast or too deeply on an ongoing basis)
• You are currently taking part in a rehabilitation programme, such as pulmonary or cardiac rehabilitation — though if you finished such a programme more than 4 weeks ago, you may still be eligible (confirm with trial site)
