• You have been diagnosed with a high-grade brain tumour (confirmed by biopsy), have already had surgery followed by standard radiation and chemotherapy, and scans show the tumour has come back.
• You are between 18 and 70 years old (any gender).
• If you are taking the steroid medication dexamethasone for brain swelling, your dose must be low and stable (under 6 mg per day) in the week before joining — or reducing to that level; if you take it for another reason, you may still be eligible.

• You are considered suitable for acupuncture, have no serious complications that would prevent it, and are willing to attend acupuncture sessions regularly.
• You are fully alert, can feel and recognise pain, and are able to have a basic conversation.
• You are willing to take part and have signed a consent form agreeing to join the study.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have epileptic seizures that are not well controlled.
• You have more than mild nerve damage in your hands or feet (confirm with trial site).
• You are currently in another clinical trial, or finished one less than 3 months ago.
• You have previously been treated with paclitaxel or similar chemotherapy or biological drugs, or you have had an allergic reaction to these types of medicines.
• Your heart, liver, kidneys, or blood are not functioning well enough — the trial requires recent blood test results (within 14 days before starting) to meet specific minimum levels (confirm exact values with trial site).
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You have a significant cognitive impairment such as dementia from birth, or a history of misusing alcohol, drugs, or psychiatric medications.
