Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are female
- You are between 18 and 50 years old
- You are currently using or have previously used hormonal contraception (such as the pill, patch, or hormonal coil)
- You are willing and able to give written consent to participate
- You have been diagnosed with a non-cancerous gynaecological condition (not affecting the womb lining) that requires a hysterectomy, hysteroscopy, or laparoscopy, OR you have been diagnosed with endometriosis requiring laparoscopy or hysterectomy

- You are currently pregnant or have been pregnant in the 3 months before the sample is taken
- You are currently breastfeeding
- You are going through natural menopause
- You have received any hormonal treatment involving non-steroid hormones in the 3 months before the sample is taken (confirm with trial site)
- You have a non-hormonal copper coil (IUD) fitted
- You have a personal history of cancer of the breast, ovary, womb lining, or cervix
- You have a condition called Lynch syndrome (an inherited condition that increases cancer risk)
- You are under any form of legal protection such as guardianship or curatorship
- You are currently detained or imprisoned by a legal or administrative decision
- Your body mass index (BMI) is below 18.5 or above 30 (a measure of whether your weight is in a certain range for your height)
