Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are willing to read and understand what the trial involves and sign a consent form.
• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread locally or to other parts of the body, confirmed by a tissue or cell sample, and have not yet received any treatment that works throughout the whole body.
• Your cancer has specific gene changes (mutations) in the EGFR gene — specifically in exon 19, exon 21 (L858R), or the T790M mutation — along with certain other gene changes (such as in TP53, PIK3CA, CTNB1, or RB1), confirmed by an approved laboratory.
• You are generally able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation (a standard performance score of 0 or 1).
• Your doctors expect you to live for at least 12 weeks.
• Your blood counts and organ functions (such as liver and kidneys) are at acceptable levels.
• You have at least one area of cancer that can be measured on a scan, following standard measurement guidelines.
• You have brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) that are stable and not causing active symptoms.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have already had any treatment that works throughout the whole body for your advanced or metastatic lung cancer.
• You have received certain targeted treatments (such as EGFR or VEGFR antibody therapies) within the 4 weeks before starting the trial.
• You have received radiation therapy within the past 14 days, or you are still experiencing side effects from radiation — with some exceptions for certain types of palliative or targeted radiation given at least 7 days before starting.
• You are currently taking, or recently took, certain medications or herbal supplements that strongly affect how the trial drugs are processed by your body (confirm with trial site).
• You have compression of the spinal cord or cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain or spinal cord.
• You have been diagnosed with another type of cancer in the past 2 years.
• You are still experiencing significant side effects (worse than mild, except hair loss) from previous treatments such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
• You have had a stroke or bleeding in the brain in the past 6 months.
• You have a severe or poorly managed medical condition, such as very high blood pressure that is hard to control, or active bleeding.
• You have an ongoing or active infection, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, or COVID-19.
• You have significant heart-related conditions or abnormalities (confirm with trial site for details).
• You have a history of serious lung inflammation or scarring (such as interstitial lung disease, radiation damage to the lungs, or lung problems caused by immunotherapy).
• You have serious difficulty swallowing, chronic digestive disease, uncontrolled nausea or vomiting, or a history of bowel surgery that could prevent the trial drugs from being absorbed properly.
• You have received a live vaccine within 2 weeks before starting the trial.
• You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
• You have a known allergy to the trial drugs or any of their ingredients.
• The trial doctors have decided for any other reason that participation would not be appropriate for you.
