Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing and able to give their consent to participate before the study begins
- People aged between 18 and 75 years
- People whose pre-surgery assessment indicates they have non-small cell lung cancer (a common type of lung cancer) at an early to intermediate stage (Stage I to IIIB), and who have not yet received any treatment for it

- People who have had a lung condition called interstitial lung disease (scarring or inflammation of the lungs), whether caused by medication, radiation treatment, or any other cause
- People who the trial doctor believes would be unable to follow the study's requirements or whose personal circumstances make participation difficult
