Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 18 and 64 years old
• You have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis using standard medical diagnostic guidelines (called the McDonald Criteria)
• You experience muscle stiffness or tightness (spasticity) in your lower legs
• Your level of disability, as measured by a specific MS walking and mobility scale (PDDS), is rated at 5 or below, meaning you are able to walk with some assistance at most

Who may not be able to join:

• You have difficulty communicating with the study team
• You have a fear of needles
• You have severe varicose veins
• You have an active implanted medical device (such as a pacemaker)
• You are currently pregnant
• You have or have had cancer within the past year
• You have a known or suspected infection at or near the area where needles would be used
• You have a condition where your ankle is permanently fixed in a pointed-foot position (confirm with trial site)
• You have a recent broken bone or joint dislocation in either of your lower legs or feet
• You have a blood clot in a deep vein or poor circulation in your legs
• You have inflammation of a vein with clotting, or an active bone infection in your lower legs or feet
• Your medications have been changed in the past three months, including any medicines used to treat muscle stiffness
