Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a high-grade early-stage bladder tumor (called high grade T1) and, after being fully informed of your options, have chosen to have your bladder removed.
• You have a non-invasive high-grade bladder tumor or pre-cancerous cells in the bladder lining that have not responded to treatment placed directly into the bladder, and you have chosen to have your bladder removed.
• You have bladder cancer that has grown into the muscle wall of the bladder (stage T2 or T3) and are planned to have your bladder removed.
• You have previously had bladder treatments such as medication placed directly into the bladder, or one or more procedures to remove bladder tumors, and can still join (details about these past treatments will be recorded).
• You are male or female and are 18 years of age or older at the time you give your consent to join.
• You are willing and able to follow all the requirements of the study.
• You have had, or are able to get, a specific type of CT scan (without contrast dye) of your chest, abdomen, and pelvis either before or during the screening process.
• If you need chemotherapy or other drug treatment before your bladder removal surgery, you must join the study before that treatment begins.
• You are able to understand the study and are willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part.

Who may not be able to join:

• You are having your bladder removed for reasons other than trying to cure your cancer (for example, for comfort or symptom relief only).
• You have already had radiation treatment directed at the pelvis area specifically to treat bladder cancer.
• You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
