Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are older than 18 years of age
- People who have been diagnosed with locally advanced lung cancer (either non-small cell or small cell type) and have a treatment plan that includes high-dose radiation therapy (45Gy or more) followed by immunotherapy
- People who are not receiving chemotherapy and radiation therapy at the same time are eligible to join
- People already taking part in another clinical trial that involves chest radiation and immunotherapy may also be eligible to join this trial at the same time

- People with a life expectancy of at least 6 months
- People who are able to read and sign a consent form before the study begins
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had radiation therapy to the chest area
- People whose treating doctor has determined they are not suitable candidates for curative chest radiation therapy or immunotherapy
- People with other serious ongoing or sudden physical or mental health conditions that, in the opinion of the research team, could make participation unsafe or unsuitable
