Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have had complete surgical removal of their lung cancer (meaning no cancer was left behind), with a stage IB, II, or certain stage IIIA non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) diagnosis, based on standard cancer staging guidelines
• People diagnosed with either of the two main types of NSCLC: squamous or non-squamous
• People with non-squamous NSCLC who do not have specific genetic changes known as EGFR or ALK alterations
• Adults between 18 and 75 years of age (male or female)
• People whose lung cancer surgery was completed no more than 60 days before starting the study treatment
• People who are generally well enough to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation (as measured by a standard medical scale called ECOG, scoring 0 or 1)
• People whose blood counts, liver function, and kidney function meet minimum health thresholds as measured by blood tests (confirm specific values with trial site)
• People who are not pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who are willing and able to attend all required visits and follow the study plan, and who have provided written consent to participate

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose surgery did not fully remove all cancer, or whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body
• People with non-squamous NSCLC who have specific genetic changes (EGFR sensitive mutations or ALK translocation)
• People who have previously received systemic cancer treatment for NSCLC (such as chemotherapy or similar therapies)
• People who have had a severe allergic reaction to monoclonal antibody medications
• People with a known or suspected autoimmune condition or immune system disorder, with some exceptions — well-controlled underactive thyroid or well-controlled type 1 diabetes may be permitted (confirm with trial site)
• People with uncontrolled active hepatitis B or active hepatitis C, as detected through specific blood tests
• People who have received a live vaccine within 30 days before the first dose of study treatment
• People who have active interstitial lung disease (a condition affecting lung tissue)
• People with a known positive HIV diagnosis or AIDS
• People who are unable to follow the study procedures or attend required appointments
• People with serious unstable health conditions, including uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart failure, a heart attack within the past year, serious heart rhythm problems, active infections, active tuberculosis, or significant liver, kidney, or metabolic disease
• People with another serious ongoing health condition that, in the trial doctor's opinion, could affect their ability to complete the study or affect the results
• People who have had another cancer diagnosis within the last 5 years — exceptions may include certain cancers fully treated by surgery with at least 5 years free of disease, cured skin basal cell carcinoma, or cured cervical carcinoma in situ (confirm with trial site)
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People whose lung cancer diagnosis includes small cell lung cancer components
