Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been clinically diagnosed with uterine fibroids (located within the muscle wall, or growing on the inside or outside of the uterus, classified as FIGO types 2–6) or adenomyosis (a condition where the uterine lining grows into the muscle of the uterus)
• People whose imaging scans show either no bowel (intestine) blocking the treatment path, or where that blockage can be cleared to make the treatment safe
• People whose layer of fat under the skin of the abdomen measures 4 cm or less
• People where the distance from the skin of the abdomen to the area being treated measures 14 cm or less
• People who are in generally good health and are able to lie face-down for 2 hours or more
• Adult women who have not been able to conceive (infertile)

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose diagnosis is not clearly confirmed
• People whose fibroids or adenomyosis have grown rapidly in a short period of time, or where scans suggest any possibility of cancer or uncertain malignant potential
• People who have an active skin infection in the area where treatment would be applied
• People with an uncontrolled acute pelvic infection
• People in poor general health, or with serious problems affecting the heart, liver, or kidneys
• People with severe blood clotting disorders
• People who have large scars on the lower abdomen in the treatment area
• People for whom sedative or pain-relief medications cannot safely be used
• Postmenopausal people whose fibroids or adenomyosis have grown larger after menopause
• People who are pregnant, or who have a mental health condition, cognitive impairment, or any other condition that would prevent them from cooperating with the treatment
