Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer (a type of cancer in the back of the nose and throat) that has come back or spread, confirmed through a tissue or cell sample, regardless of whether it is linked to the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) or not.
• People whose cancer is classified as advanced (Stage IV-B) or has returned after previous treatment aimed at curing it, with the return happening more than 6 months after the last dose of radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
• People whose cancer can be measured on scans, including cases where the measurable tumour is in an area that was previously treated with radiation, as long as the cancer has been shown to be growing there.

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose cancer could still be treated with local treatment (such as surgery or radiation) with the goal of curing the disease.
• People who have already received systemic treatment (such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy given throughout the body) for their cancer after it spread or came back, or whose cancer returned within 6 months of completing treatment aimed at a cure.
• People whose cancer is considered to be rapidly worsening — for example, causing bleeding or severe uncontrolled pain — in the treating doctor's judgement.
• People who have active or untreated cancer that has spread to the brain or the lining around the brain or spinal cord, unless those brain metastases were previously treated, have been stable for at least 1 month, and steroid medication above a certain dose has been stopped for at least 1 month before joining (confirm with trial site).
