Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 70 years old (inclusive)
- People who have had Type 1 diabetes for at least one year, or people with Type 2 diabetes who manage their blood sugar using multiple daily insulin injections or an insulin pump

Who may not be able to join:
- People who are already using an automated insulin delivery (AID) system
- People who are taking a type of diabetes medication called sulphonylureas (note: SGLT2 inhibitors, metformin, and GLP-1 medications may be permitted in certain groups — the trial site can clarify)
- People who have had a serious episode of diabetic ketoacidosis (a dangerous complication of diabetes) within the past six months
- People who have used systemic steroid medication in the past four weeks (though people on a stable steroid dose for more than eight weeks may still be considered — confirm with trial site)
- People with significant memory or thinking difficulties, or a major psychiatric history, that could affect safe participation in the study
- People with a known significant allergy to tape or adhesives
- Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant
- People with a serious, life-threatening illness where life expectancy is less than six months
- People who are taking hydroxyurea, or who take paracetamol regularly or daily (as these can interfere with the glucose sensor used in the study)
