Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are between 40 and 75 years of age
• People who have been diagnosed with COPD for at least 12 months before the screening visit, and who have elevated levels of a certain type of white blood cell (eosinophils) in their blood at screening
• People whose breathing test results fall within a specific range — the trial site will assess this using standard lung function measurements (FEV1/FVC ratio below 0.70, and post-bronchodilator FEV1 between 40% and 80% of the expected normal value)
• People whose COPD symptoms are having a noticeable impact on daily life, based on a standard symptom questionnaire score of 10 or more (called the CAT score)
• People who have been using two or more inhaled medications to manage their COPD for at least 3 months before screening

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who have a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in the study drug (solrikitug), or who have previously had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to any similar type of medication (therapeutic monoclonal antibody)
• People who have a significant medical history involving the heart, blood, liver, immune system, metabolism, nervous system, kidneys, skin, mental health, or any cancer or other serious condition that, in the opinion of the study doctor, could affect the study results
• People who have another lung condition (other than COPD) that the study doctor believes is serious enough to affect how the study is conducted
• People who have had major lung surgery within the 12 months before the screening visit
• People who have had a lower respiratory tract infection (such as a chest infection) requiring antibiotics within 6 weeks before the screening visit
