Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with certain inflammatory conditions affecting the nervous system, including: Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD), Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP), Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathy (IIM), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Autoimmune Encephalitis (AE), Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody-Associated Disease (MOGAD), or similar conditions (confirm with trial site)
- Healthy individuals who are a similar age and sex to patients in the study may also be eligible to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a known history of a condition where the immune system does not work properly from birth or that was acquired over time
- People who currently have a severe infection affecting the brain, spinal cord, lungs, or other parts of the body
- People whose nervous system symptoms are caused by other underlying conditions such as vasculitis, lupus, or Sjögren's syndrome, rather than the conditions listed above
- People who have vascular diseases (such as stroke or bleeding in the brain), inherited metabolic disorders, tumors, or toxic-related diseases affecting the nervous system
- Women who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
