Who might be able to join this trial:

You are over 18 years old
You have been diagnosed with early-stage primary lung cancer located in the outer part of the lung (stage IA, T1N0M0), confirmed by a tissue test, including cases where a new or second lung cancer has appeared after previous surgery
Your lung lesion has been assessed as suitable for a type of treatment guided by CT scan and a camera inserted into the airways (bronchoscopy)
You have been assessed as not suitable for surgery, or you have chosen not to have surgery, and you agree to try this ablation (tissue-destroying) treatment and have signed a consent form

Who may not be able to join:

You have very low platelet levels, a serious tendency to bleed, or blood clotting problems that cannot be quickly corrected
You have severe lung scarring (pulmonary fibrosis) or high blood pressure in the lungs
You have an active infection near the tumour, an uncontrolled skin infection at the treatment site, a body-wide infection, or a high fever above 38.5°C
You have serious problems with your liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, or brain, or serious anaemia, dehydration, or nutritional problems that cannot be quickly improved
You have malignant fluid build-up around the lung that is not well controlled
You are taking blood thinners or anti-platelet medications (with some exceptions) and have not stopped taking them at least 5–7 days before the procedure
Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities is rated as poor (ECOG score greater than 2) (confirm with trial site)
You have another cancer that has spread widely, and your expected survival is less than 6 months
You have a condition involving episodes of psychosis
You have an implanted electronic device, such as a pacemaker or defibrillator
You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study period
You have taken part in, or are currently taking part in, another clinical trial within the last 30 days
The doctor running the trial decides there is any other reason you should not take part
