Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 30 or older, of any gender
  • People with no previous history of any type of cancer
  • People who are able to provide chest X-ray and/or low-dose CT scan (LDCT) results
  • People who have been diagnosed with COPD, or who have small spots on the lung (called pulmonary nodules) measuring less than 11mm, or whose doctor has decided a biopsy is not needed
  • People who are willing to return for a follow-up X-ray or LDCT scan at their next scheduled medical appointment as part of their usual care
  • People who are willing to provide up to 30mL of blood (roughly 2 tablespoons) at the first visit, and up to 21mL at the second visit

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have previously received chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or any other cancer-related treatment
  • People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding (based on self-declaration)
  • People who are unwilling or unable to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
