Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 50 years old
- You have painful symptoms linked to endometriosis — such as pain during sex, pain when having a bowel movement, painful periods, ongoing pelvic pain, pain when urinating, or pain around the time of ovulation — and at least one of these pains rates higher than 5 out of 10 on a pain scale
- Your doctor has recommended that you take a hormone-based pill (taken by mouth) to treat your endometriosis
- You are willing and able to give your informed consent to take part in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a medical reason why you cannot take oral (by mouth) hormone therapy
- You currently have, or have had in the past, an infection in your pelvic area
- You have a history of cancer, or there is currently a concern that you may have a cancerous growth in your reproductive system
- You have had previous pelvic surgery, such as removal of the womb, fallopian tubes, ovarian cysts, fibroids, surgery for endometriosis, or bowel surgery
- You have another known condition that causes long-term pelvic pain (confirm with trial site)
- You have already gone through menopause
