Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), according to specific medical guidelines, but not a subtype known as M3
- People who have agreed to take part by signing a consent form (where this applies)
- People who are starting treatment with certain newer AML medicines, either alone or in combination with other drugs, approved by the Italian medicines authority (AIFA) between the start of the study and 31 December 2027 — this includes people with a specific gene change called FLT3 being treated with a medicine called gilteritinib, people with a gene change called IDH being treated with IDH-blocking medicines, people receiving a maintenance treatment called oral azacitidine, or people being treated with medicines called glasdegib or gemtuzumab ozogamicin, as well as other newly approved AML medicines that may become available during the study period
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial that involves a specific treatment being tested (known as an interventional clinical trial)
