Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have signs and symptoms of heart failure, as defined by European heart health guidelines
  • People whose heart is pumping at 40% capacity or more (a measurement called ejection fraction)
  • People who have scored 5 or higher on a specific heart failure assessment tool called the HFA-PEFF score, or scored between 2 and 4 on that tool along with an abnormal result on a stress test

  • People who are unable to have a cardiac MRI scan — for example, due to severe claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces) or having certain implanted heart devices such as a pacemaker
  • People who have had a heart attack, a procedure to open blocked heart arteries, or heart bypass surgery within the last 3 months, or who have a severe untreated blockage in a heart artery
  • People who have moderate-to-severe disease affecting the valves on the left side of the heart
  • People who have complex heart defects that were present from birth
