Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are having a surgical procedure called TURBT to remove a bladder tumor that was found on imaging or during a camera examination of the bladder
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People whose upper urinary tract (the kidneys and the tubes connecting them to the bladder) is being monitored using standard medical checks throughout the study
- People who have started a bladder treatment (where medicine is placed directly into the bladder) within four weeks of their TURBT procedure
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose tumor is made up of less than 50% of a specific cancer cell type called urothelial carcinoma (confirm with trial site)
- People who have been previously diagnosed with, or currently have, a tumor in the upper urinary tract or a bladder cancer that has grown into the muscle wall
- People who have had radiation treatment to the pelvic area at any point in the past
- People who currently have an active urinary tract infection
- People who are unlikely to be able to follow the requirements of the study protocol
