For people with Long COVID symptoms (CL+ group):
- People whose condition matches the World Health Organization's agreed definition of Long COVID (confirm with trial site)
For people without ongoing COVID symptoms (Control/CL- group):
- People who had COVID-19 (mild, moderate, or severe) at least 3 months before joining the trial

For people with Long COVID symptoms (CL+ group):
- People who had a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome either before or after their COVID infection
- People with a history of a serious, ongoing psychiatric condition
- People whose original COVID illness was so severe that it required admission to an intensive care unit and mechanical ventilation (breathing machine)
- People who are not affiliated with the French social security system
For people without ongoing COVID symptoms (Control/CL- group):
- People with a history of a serious, ongoing psychiatric condition
- People whose original COVID illness was so severe that it required admission to an intensive care unit and mechanical ventilation (breathing machine)
- People who are not affiliated with the French social security system
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
