Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You must be willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
- You have been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL) or chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) that has come back or stopped responding to treatment
- Your cancer must be measurable by standard medical tests used for your specific type of blood cancer (confirm with trial site)
- You must not have any serious ongoing illnesses or infections that are active or not being controlled
- You must be well enough to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation, based on a standard health scale used by doctors (confirm with trial site)
- Your heart, liver, kidneys, and other major organs must be working well enough as determined by the trial team
- If you have previously received a treatment that targets a protein called CD19, you must have had a biopsy showing that your cancer still has CD19 on its cells after that treatment ended
Who may not be able to join:
- Women who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- People whose cancer has spread only to the brain or spinal cord
- People who have previously received a bone marrow transplant from a donor, gene therapy, or certain types of cell-based therapies (some exceptions may apply — confirm with trial site)
- People who have HIV, whether currently active or previously diagnosed
- People with currently active hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection
- People with conditions that weaken the immune system, unless it is well-controlled Type 1 diabetes or a thyroid condition
- People with an ongoing brain or nervous system condition that would make it difficult to assess neurological health during the trial
- People with uncontrolled chest pain (angina) or other serious active heart conditions
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial that involves a treatment intervention
