- People who regularly take medications known to affect male sexual function, such as opioid pain medicines, anti-anxiety medications, antidepressants, mood stabilisers, certain blood pressure medicines (such as beta blockers), or high-dose water tablets (diuretics)
- People with a psychiatric condition or substance use disorder that would make it difficult to participate fully in the study
- People with a significant psychological condition or high levels of emotional distress that could affect sexual function or their ability to take part in the study
