Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 16 and 90 years old
• You have been diagnosed with lung cancer (primary, returned, or spread to other parts of the body), confirmed by a tissue test
• You are expected to live for more than 3 months
• You are able to carry out some daily activities (your doctor can assess this using standard scoring tools)
• Standard treatments have not worked for you, or no standard treatments are available for your condition
• You have a tumor area that can be safely biopsied or removed, or fluid in your body containing cancer cells that can be used for treatment
• You have at least one measurable tumor that can be tracked during the trial
• Your blood test results taken within 7 days before joining show that your white blood cells, infection-fighting cells, clotting ability, kidney function, and liver function are all within acceptable levels (your doctor will check these)
• There are no medical reasons preventing you from having a biopsy or minor surgery
• If you could become pregnant, you must be willing to use highly effective contraception from when you sign consent until at least 1 year after a specific part of the treatment is completed
• Any previous cancer treatments (such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or biological therapies) must have stopped at least 28 days before the tissue collection step
• You are able to understand and sign the consent form
• You are able to attend follow-up visits and follow the study requirements

Who may not be able to join:

• You need regular steroid medication (such as prednisone) at a dose higher than 15mg per day, or you have an autoimmune condition requiring immune-suppressing treatment
• Your lung function tests show significantly reduced breathing capacity (confirm with trial site)
• You have serious heart problems, such as severe heart failure, very low blood pressure, uncontrolled chest pain, a weak pumping function, or serious heart rhythm problems
• You have HIV, active hepatitis B or C, or syphilis
• You have a serious physical or mental health condition
• You currently have an active infection in your body that requires treatment, or there is evidence of infection in your blood or on scans
• You have received or are currently receiving other cancer treatments, medicines, or therapies within the past month
• You have a known allergy to substances similar to those used in cell-based therapies
• You previously had a serious (Grade 3 or higher) immune-related side effect from immunotherapy
• You still have significant side effects from a previous cancer treatment that have not fully resolved (minor issues like hair loss may be excepted — confirm with trial site)
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding
• You have had an organ transplant, a stem cell transplant using donor cells, or kidney dialysis
• The research team considers you to have another serious condition or another reason that makes joining the trial unsuitable
