Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been officially diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
• Your cancer is at an advanced stage — specifically stage IIIB (not treatable with combined therapies), IIIC, or stage IV, or it has come back after an earlier diagnosis at a lower stage.
• Your tumor has a specific gene change (mutation) in a gene called EGFR — for example, certain types known as Exon 19 deletion or L858R, among others — found through a standard blood, tissue, or fluid test.
• You may have had chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy as your first treatment before the EGFR gene change was found, as long as that was within 45 days of joining the study.
• You may have recently started a drug called osimertinib as your first treatment, as long as it was within 30 days of joining the study.
• You have had previous radiation therapy for this cancer at any point.
• You are 18 years of age or older.

Who may not be able to join:

• Your tumor has a specific type of EGFR mutation called an "exon 20 insertion," which is a different kind of mutation not covered by this trial.
• You have previously been treated with any EGFR-targeting drug other than osimertinib.
• You are currently taking part in another cancer treatment trial (including a trial called EA5182), or are receiving osimertinib as part of any other clinical trial.
