Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a woman between 18 and 45 years old who still has menstrual periods (before menopause)
- You are seeking treatment to help with symptoms caused by endometriosis and are not currently receiving any other treatment for it
- You have been diagnosed with Stage 1 or Stage 2 endometriosis, confirmed by an ultrasound or MRI scan of the pelvis
- Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is 25 or below, and you weigh between 50 and 70 kilograms (approximately 110 to 154 pounds)
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently pregnant (you will need to provide a test result as proof)
- You are currently breastfeeding
- You are using hormonal contraceptives (such as the pill, patch, or hormonal coil) or a copper or silver IUD (coil)
- You have been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and/or higher-than-normal levels of male hormones (confirm with trial site)
- You are taking any medications that could affect how your body processes male hormones, within 4 weeks before or during the study
- You have a history of liver disease, heart disease (such as a heart attack, unstable chest pain, or heart failure), active hepatitis, liver tumours, or kidney failure
- You are already scheduled to have surgery during the time the study is taking place
