Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a woman between 18 and 65 years old who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by a doctor

  • Your Body Mass Index (BMI) — a measure of body weight relative to height — is between 18.5 and 29.9
  • You have not lost 5% or more of your body weight in the last month

Who may not be able to join:

  • Women who have an autoimmune disease other than MS that could affect the study
  • Anyone currently in an MS relapse (active flare-up)
  • Women who have gone through menopause
  • Anyone under 18 or over 65 years old
  • Anyone who has followed a Mediterranean diet, intermittent fasting, or any other special dietary programme in the last three months
  • Anyone who has been diagnosed with an eating disorder
  • Anyone with communication difficulties
  • Anyone unwilling or unable to sign the consent form
  • Anyone who is unable to follow the study requirements or whose behaviour may interfere with the study
  • Anyone currently taking supplements such as selenium, zinc, iron, vitamin D, and/or B12
  • Anyone who has received or is currently receiving cancer treatment
  • Anyone with another neurological condition such as Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, or Alzheimer's disease
  • Anyone who has had a long-term illness lasting more than 4 months in the past year, or who follows a special diet such as high-protein, ketogenic, or a very low-calorie diet (under 1,000 calories per day) (confirm with trial site)
  • Anyone with a BMI below 18.5 or 30 or above
  • Anyone who has lost 5% or more of their body weight in the last month
  • Anyone with a physical disability
