Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with, or are being assessed for, a precancerous or cancerous condition in the mouth, including leukoplakia, erythroplakia, mild/moderate/severe dysplasia, carcinoma in situ, or squamous cell carcinoma.
- People who are attending UT MD Anderson Cancer Center for the first time to have one of these conditions assessed or diagnosed.
- People who were previously treated or assessed at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and are returning because their condition has come back or progressed.
- People who are able to give informed consent to participate in the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant.
- Adults who have a cognitive impairment that affects their ability to participate.
- People who have previously had surgery or radiation treatment for oral squamous cell carcinoma at a hospital or clinic other than UT MD Anderson Cancer Center.
