Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are 18 years of age or older
  • People who have finished their main breast cancer treatment between 1 and 5 years ago (ongoing hormone/endocrine therapies are still allowed)
  • People who have significant sleep difficulties, measured either by scoring above 10 on a standard insomnia questionnaire (the ISI) or by meeting established medical criteria for Insomnia Disorder
  • People who are experiencing memory or concentration problems, measured either by rating these as "quite a bit" or "very much" on a standard cancer quality-of-life questionnaire, or by scoring below a certain threshold on a cognitive assessment tool designed for cancer patients

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have sleep disorders other than insomnia that could affect sleep or thinking abilities
  • People who are taking medications (other than hormone/endocrine therapies) that could affect sleep or thinking abilities
  • People who have a neurological or psychiatric condition that could affect sleep or thinking abilities
  • People who work shift work
  • People who are pregnant or currently on maternity leave
  • People whose breast cancer has returned, or who have been diagnosed with a new cancer
  • People who do not have sufficient proficiency in Danish
  • People who have a substance use problem that could affect sleep or thinking abilities
  • People who have previously received a therapy called CBT-I (a specific talking-based treatment for insomnia)
  • People who have had a cancer other than breast cancer
