Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are male and 18 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer) that has spread to other parts of the body (either for the first time or as a return of the disease), confirmed by a biopsy
- You have swollen lymph nodes that can be felt by touch
- You have already had a specific type of body scan (called an FDG PET-CT scan) as part of your normal care
- You are scheduled to have surgery to remove the original site of your cancer
Who may not be able to join:
- You are not able or willing to give written consent to take part in the study
- You are not willing to complete all parts of the study
- You are female
- You are currently taking hormone-related medications that reduce or block male hormones (such as treatments used for prostate cancer)
- You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer now or in the past
- You have received a specific type of cancer treatment called Lu-177 PSMA therapy, or have had a barium scan, within the 10 days before your study scan (confirm with trial site)
- You are not fluent in English
