Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are male and 18 years of age or older
  • You have been diagnosed with melanoma (skin cancer) that has spread to other parts of the body (either for the first time or as a return of the disease), confirmed by a biopsy
  • You have swollen lymph nodes that can be felt by touch
  • You have already had a specific type of body scan (called an FDG PET-CT scan) as part of your normal care
  • You are scheduled to have surgery to remove the original site of your cancer

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are not able or willing to give written consent to take part in the study
  • You are not willing to complete all parts of the study
  • You are female
  • You are currently taking hormone-related medications that reduce or block male hormones (such as treatments used for prostate cancer)
  • You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer now or in the past
  • You have received a specific type of cancer treatment called Lu-177 PSMA therapy, or have had a barium scan, within the 10 days before your study scan (confirm with trial site)
  • You are not fluent in English
