Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with a specific type of early-stage bladder cancer (called high-risk, high-grade non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer, or NMIBC) that has been confirmed by a tissue sample taken within the last 90 days.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have been diagnosed with bladder cancer that has grown into the muscle wall of the bladder, spread to nearby areas, or spread to other parts of the body (either now or in the past).
  • You have had a certain type of cancer in the upper urinary tract (such as the kidneys or ureters) or in the urethra near the prostate within specific time periods (confirm exact timeframes with trial site).
  • You have a serious condition that significantly weakens your immune system.
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • For one specific group (Cohort CX only): you have received a series of gemcitabine treatments directly into the bladder within the past 24 months.
