Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) based on the 2022 WHO diagnostic guidelines
- People aged between 60 and 75 years old

- People with currently active serious heart conditions, such as uncontrolled irregular heartbeat, uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart failure, severe heart disease, or a heart attack within the past 3 months
- People with other serious illnesses that could limit safe participation in the trial, such as severe infections or kidney failure
- People with a known HIV infection, or hepatitis that is not controlled with medication
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are unable to understand or follow the study procedures, or who are unable to sign the consent form
