Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 20 and 80 years old who have been diagnosed with a connective tissue disease, such as dermatomyositis, polymyositis, scleroderma, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, or Sjögren's syndrome.
- People whose lung disease (a type called fibrotic interstitial lung disease) has continued to get worse despite long-term treatment with steroids and strong immune-suppressing medicines, or whose lung disease is worsening rapidly in a short period of time, as shown by breathing tests or CT scan results.

- People whose urine pregnancy test is negative before the trial begins.

Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unwilling to sign the consent form after the doctor has fully explained the trial.
- People who are younger than 20 or older than 80, or whose lung function or CT scan results have shown improvement after 6 months of treatment with steroids and immune-suppressing medicines.
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or women who could become pregnant but are not using contraception.
- People with abnormal liver function or poor kidney function, based on specific blood test results (confirm with trial site for exact values).
- People with immune system conditions such as HIV/AIDS, or those who have been diagnosed with a notifiable infectious disease as listed by the relevant health authority.
