Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 18 and 70 years old (male or female)
• You are able to read, understand, and sign a consent form before the study begins

• You have a history of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or any episodes of psychosis
• You have had anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or another eating disorder within the past five years
• Another mental health condition is currently more significant than your PTSD, or has been within the past six months
• The study team believes you may be at significant risk of suicidal behaviour during the study
• You have a neurological disorder (a condition affecting the brain or nervous system)
• You have a cardiovascular disorder (a heart or blood vessel condition)
• You have a pulmonary or respiratory disorder (a lung or breathing condition)
• You have significant liver disease
• You have significant kidney disease
• You have acid reflux, a hiatal hernia, or another digestive condition that could pose a risk during a procedure
• You have an endocrine disorder (a condition affecting hormones, such as an uncontrolled thyroid condition — confirm with trial site)
• You have abnormal lab results at screening that the study doctor considers a safety risk
• Your current mental health provider believes the study would pose a risk to you
