Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have an ovarian cyst related to endometriosis (called an endometrioma), visible on an ultrasound scan
- People who have previously had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst, either through open surgery or keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery
- People in whom small patches of endometriosis were found in the pelvic area during keyhole surgery
- People who are attending their first IVF or ICSI fertility treatment cycle
Who may not be able to join:
- People aged over 40 years
- People whose endometriosis-related ovarian cyst measures more than 3 cm on ultrasound
- People who have previously had an unsuccessful IVF or ICSI cycle
- People identified as having a low ovarian reserve (a low number of eggs remaining), based on specific hormone or ultrasound test results (confirm with trial site)
- People who have had previous surgery on the uterus (womb)
- People who have been diagnosed with any structural abnormality of the uterus (womb)
