Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 18 or older
  • People whose cancer is being treated with the aim of a cure, using chemotherapy with radiation therapy, or surgery with radiation therapy (with or without chemotherapy)

  • People whose cancer is at a very advanced stage and where treatment is focused on managing symptoms rather than curing the disease
  • People with cancer symptoms or pain that are not well controlled
  • People who need to start cancer treatment urgently without delay
  • People with severe loss of physical function that significantly affects their ability to carry out everyday activities
  • People with significant muscle loss that would limit their ability to take part in the exercise preparation program
  • People with severe cognitive difficulties or serious mental health conditions that would prevent participation in the preparation program
