• Children who have a diagnosed medical condition (such as phenylketonuria, a malabsorption syndrome, or a pollen food allergy syndrome) that requires a strict diet and means they cannot make any changes to what they eat, particularly around fruits and vegetables
• Children who have a diagnosed condition (such as level 3 autism spectrum disorder) that causes severe difficulty with communication and interacting with others, for example being nonverbal or unable to initiate social interaction
• There are no exclusion criteria for primary adult caregivers, as the main focus of the trial is on the preschool-aged children, with caregivers playing a support role
